Prodigi Named as Top 10 to Watch

A couple weeks ago the Greater Memphis Chamber published a press release that forecasted ten companies to watch for in 2014, based on those who made great strides this past year and show great promise in the next. When we heard the news we were, well, a little excited. As a boutique creative studio taking up residence in downtown Memphis, we feel flattered to be nominated alongside organizations like International Paper and the Regional Medical Center, which both have the kind of reputation and accomplishments that we would like to have someday.

In the upcoming year we aspire to live up to the Chamber’s nomination, push the bounds of our creativity through utilizing creative techniques like image-based design and motion graphics in our productions. We’ve even been talking about doing a short film or two, so keep an eye out!

“Prodigi Arts is a production studio that specializes in 2D and 3D animation, video production and motion design, but President and CEO Chris O’ Conner is quick to describe the company as so much more. “Prodigi Arts is a collection of purveyors and storytellers. We have an ongoing fascination with vibrant and authentic ideas that go viral, and we aim to create something that connects with audiences in deep and lasting ways.” Many of those stories abound in Memphis, which O’ Conner describes as a city that takes great pride in its companies. “We’ve been fortunate to have the support of organizations like Emerge Memphis, The Greater Memphis Chamber, the Memphis Business Journal and Leadership Memphis that have encouraged us to strive towards a greater vision. In 2014, O’ Conner says they plan to expand their visual services to include motion design and photo manipulation, among others, and continue to broaden their client base.”
