It's not every day that we get the chance to travel around the Bluff City to the spots we love for a project; but for one of this year's swankiest events we got to do just that.
For our most recent project with the Memphis Business Journal we were charged with producing a 60 second video to play at their annual "Book of Lists Bash" that would communicate the class and prestige that the catalogue is so well known for. To produce this video we went on an extensive scavenger hunt of sorts around town over the course of a couple days to photograph the iconic places around Memphis like the Stax Museum and FedEx Forum. These images we in turn used as our environment. After the images were retouched and re-lit, we created layers out of those images so that the camera could move in between them in 3 dimensional space, rather than simply restrict them to 2D motion.
On January 30th we were able to attend the actual event, and had an absolute blast with the great folks at the Memphis Business Journal, who it turns out, know how to have a good time.
Josh, Marty and Chris also may have sort of have fun....
