It has been quite a summer season for us as a studio. We have been busy both in and out of the office these past few months, and couldn't be more excited about it! Last month we threw on our suits and opened up a few bottles of the good stuff for a ribbon cutting from the Greater Memphis Chamber. We also used the ceremony as an excuse to throw an open house for our clients and friends around the city and celebrate a bit in high style.
Now, on to the Work:
To coincide with the FDA approval and launch of ground-breaking surgical device company Restore Medical Solutions, our friends at website design agency Rocketfuel asked us to create a 3D animation of its interchangeable trays in action. By animating the trays to hover and float into the compartments we were able to showcase the device's versatility and organizational capacities that make this device the revolutionary tool that it is.
Even more recently we worked on a training video for Central Defense Securities, whom you can see out and about whether you're picking up a gallon of milk at Kroger, catching a Redbirds game downtown, or even, I don't know, watching Zbo dominate the rim at the FedEx forum. We were incredibly fortunate to film the men and women who keep the places we love secure, and enjoyed working with the fine officers as we traveled to the different locations that they patrol.
Lastly, To kick off the 2013-2014 Executive Class with Leadership Memphis, we followed this years' participants around the Bluff City with our camera as they climbed rock walls, visited Jude's Research Hospital and put together bicycles. We are proud to once again be a Corporate Leader Sponsor of this fine organization that does so much to train and develop the next generation of leaders in our beloved city.
And let's not forget:
Earlier last month we were also featured in the Memphis Business Journal about our production work and growth as a company here in the Bluff City. The article gave readers a brief synopsis of our story as a production studio, answering questions like “What was your biggest misconception when opening your business?” or “What have been some key turning points in the life of your business?”
A great deal of thanks goes out to all of you who attended our first ever open house last month. And for those of you who weren't able to make it, you'll just have to wait until next year...
